About the role:
The role of a Business Development Engineer is multifaceted, blending technical expertise with sales acumen to drive growth and foster innovation within the company. A successful candidate should possess 1-4 years sales experience in either the North American or European markets, specifically focusing on Product Design or Plant Engineering.
You are expected to do:
- Conduct detailed data research and generating leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Have a deep understanding of the company&aposs products or services, as well as industry trends and technologies, to effectively communicate with clients and address their technical queries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that showcase the value proposition of the company&aposs offerings.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and expand the company&aposs market share.
- Track sales metrics, analyse data, and identify areas for improvement to optimize sales performance.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- B-tech /BE in any field with 1 - 4 years of relevant work experience in sales.
- Experienced in Data research and Lead generation using various online platforms.
- Adaptability to shift schedules accommodating global clientele.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to understand customer requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written).
- Proficiency in the technical domain would be beneficial.
- Experience in B2B sales and complex solution selling is highly desirable.
