Developing and enhancing the system that allows the investment bank senior management to track the approval of all the new products (and to make sure that all the risks related to a new product are properly addressed).

Although this role does not regard investment banking experience as essential, it is expected that the good candidate will be interested in developing his/her career within investment banking.

What will you be doing?

• Analysis, design and development of NPS Application Live and Historical Database


• Design and development of ETL procedures to collect Live DB data changes in Historical DB


• Design and development BO universes representing all aspects of NPS Application (stored documents, security, access rights, etc)


• Design and development of BO reports on user request or help users with development their own reports.


• Oracle performance tuning and troubleshooting


• Ensure use of best practices and standards

What we’re looking for:

• Solid background and experience in development of Java-based Web applications (HTML, JSP, JavaScript)


• Ability to freely read and understand other developers Java code and Oracle SQL scripts


• Ability to design Historical DB, ETL procedures and BO environment updates purely on reading business requirements and other developers Java code and Oracle SQL scripts


• Sound knowledge of Oracle DB, SQL and PL/SQL, DB performance tuning


• Business Objects (BO) architecture and internals knowledge


• Deep understanding and experience in BO universe and report design. Knowledge of design traps and best practices


• Ability to find optimal compromise between DB and BO level in universe design


• Proficiency with BO universe and report development tools


• Tools: Eclipse, Git

• Must be able to participate in technical discussions within the development team, communicating any issues that have a project-wide scope to the necessary level
