As a Barclays FX UI Developer, you will be a part of FX Technology team who is working on multi-year effort to re-build FX platform from the ground up to deliver solution that can be deliver faster, quicker, easily and with less risk. Your main duties will be to assist with design, prototype, build, and deliver a state of the art trading and pricing platform in FX space. You will be developing Web UI components for the Markets&Research department as defined by business requirements and prioritization – mainly focusing on new FX built out.

What will you be doing?
• Participating in design discussions and prototype proof of concept solutions and then developing with his team a robust, performant and maintainable system

What we’re looking for:
• Wide knowledge of HTML5/ CSS /JavaScript - particularly React/Redux
• Experience in UX design & prototyping
• Experience of JavaScript unit testing practices
• Experience of working with a micro service architecture, cloud infrastructure and principles

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience in Java programming
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Good knowledge of Spring & Spring Boot
• Experience working with application containers e.g. Docker

Our Prague office is based in the financial centre of Prague. We are part of the Operations and Technology Division, and as such, we try our best to stay at the top of our technological game. However, the technology itself is not the most important thing.
