Job Description
- At Barclays, you play a crucial role as a Corporate Data Platform Modernization - Customer Experience Lead, shaping the future of customer experience journey across different business units. Your main objective is to enhance customer experience through effective communication and continuous improvement of Corporate Data Platforms. This entails establishing metrics to gauge customer experience, collaborating with teams to review and uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and spearheading initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
To excel in this role, you need to possess the following key skills:
- Customer Communication: Establish and manage a clear customer communication model.
- Metrics and Measurement: Set up and analyze metrics to measure customer experience and usage effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks (ITSB, ITSO, ITSI).
- Service Level Management: Engage with Run the Bank (RtB) teams to review and maintain SLAs.
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to ensure the platform meets customer needs.
- Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders of Director/Managing Director level.
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of complex data estates, modern tech stack, and architecture.
- Service Architecture: Experience in setting up service architecture involving multiple data applications, products, and services.
- Data Transformation: Managing complex data transformation initiatives.
- Customer Satisfaction Initiatives: Drive initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement in customer experience and platform usage.
Highly Valued Skills:
- Decision making with active critical thinking.
- Graduate or postgraduate with relevant experience in the banking domain.

You will lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering innovation, and aligning technical decisions with business objectives by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Accountabilities:
- Lead engineering teams effectively to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives.
- Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management, and task prioritization to ensure successful solution delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Mentor team members" professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.

- Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and optimize team productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
