Job Description
- The role is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex IT systems within the team. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders such as the Chief Technology Office, Cyber and Security teams, and business units to create scalable, efficient, and secure technical solutions. Your key accountabilities include developing high-level and detailed architectural designs for IT systems, guiding and mentoring development teams, working with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring seamless integration of new solutions with existing systems, staying updated on emerging technologies, and designing systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
As a part of stakeholder management and leadership, you will present a positive and professional image to both internal and external stakeholders, design solutions with stakeholders, lead technical teams for design and delivery, and mentor team members. Essential skills for this role include expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks, in-depth knowledge of system architecture and design patterns, experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms, as well as proficiency in designing cloud-native architecture.
Desirable skills include a strong understanding of integrating disparate systems, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, knowledge of security best practices and regulatory requirements, capacity to evaluate technologies and tools, and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
The purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and manage the bank's cloud and security infrastructure, including security administration processes for all platforms. Your accountabilities will involve executing assessments on new security technologies, developing security administrative processes, implementing security monitoring solutions, conducting incident investigations, identifying and implementing emerging cloud security technologies, and collaborating with the cloud operation team to manage cloud security infrastructure.
