Introduction:

As a AVP (Team Lead) for the RIS team, the key expectation is to take responsibility for RIS processes assigned which includes :

• Managing the daily operational process of validating the Time Series (TS) data of different asset classes


• SME & Lead for Market Data Time series process, control and projects


• As a Lead the expectation will be to work closely with a different stakeholders including front-line desk, QA, risk management.

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for Leading and providing local oversight of RIS Time Series responsibilities in Pune.


• Responsible for operational management of daily deliverables


• Ensure timely data on boarding and validation and other deliverables based on frequency


• Ensure any data quality gap is overcome by means of effective dialogue with internal and external team members.



• Ensure essential control measurements


• Lead & SME for Time Series Market Data projects


• Leading automation capabilities within team


• Monitor, escalate any production gaps (people issues, system issues) to the management team or IT.


• To provide business requirements for any new development or fixes to the Market Risk Projects team or IT and to sign off test results.


• Responding to ad hoc queries from the business or other internal stakeholders, ensuring a swift response and compliance with the internal policy around the distribution of sensitive data.


• Involvement in projects on systems/process updates and testing the implementation of these as necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• 
  Good knowledge of Market Risk concepts and methodologies with an emphasis on Respective Asset Class Products


• Working knowledge of Market Data vendors (BBG, Reuters etc) is preferred


• Strong understanding of Market Risk IT application


• 2-3 yrs experience in Market Risk Reporting will be preffered

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Master Degree in a quantitative discipline ( Financial Engineering, Financial-Math) is preferable


• Strong analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to process large datasets into meaningful information.


• Strong computing skills in Excel, Access.


• Experience with Python, VBA, SQL and proficient in programming languages
