To be successful as a Risk Manager - Network Product Engineering, you should have experience with extensive experience in developing detailed network cost models and the creation of Bottom-Up-Builds of network technology adoption. This includes full competitive and risk analysis of overall TCO. Additionally, you should possess extensive experience in the review of financial feasibility of network and systems & tools projects to determine if proposed spend aligns with financial objectives of the technology domain and the broader business. Strong expertise in Telecom Expense Management with the ability to optimize cost to achieve cost-saving targets is essential.
Some other highly valued skills may include extensive experience in the production of data visualization through the use of tools such as Microsoft Power BI, skilled in lifecycle cost management of network products and services, and deep knowledge of inventory management, financial budgeting, and forecasting of network, systems, and tools products and services.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Chennai.
**Purpose of the role:**
To support the Risk Function in delivering its objective of safeguarding the bank's financial and operational stability by proactively identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks across various business units and activities.
**Accountabilities:**
- Development of strategic direction for risk, including the implementation of up-to-date methodologies and processes.
- Management of the risk department, including oversight of risk colleagues and their performance, implementation of risk priorities and objectives, oversight of department efficiency and effectiveness.
- Relationship management of risk stakeholders, including identifying relevant stakeholders, and maintenance of the quality of external third-party services.
- Adherence to the Risk policy, standards, and frameworks, and maintaining a robust control environment.
