Hybrid Working

Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:

The Treasury Transformation program is made up of Liquidity, ALM & Hedge Accounting components, focusing on a number of regulatory and transformative initiatives. The purpose of this role is to support Liquidity Transformation activities to ensure outcomes align with finance architecture strategy, driving standardisation, efficiency of operation and future state design principles. This will include data analysis, process assessment, future state operating model/process build, testing, and training. 

What will you be doing?

• Analysing data to support strategic data sourcing
• Perform data manipulation using tools such as Excel, SQL and create visualizations to help communicate insights to stakeholders
• Work with the data team to identify areas for improvement in data management and analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business insights and opportunities
• Support in building controls and governance around Liquidity Data
• Execute test cases, and support the creation of test scripts

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science or Data Science.
• Basic Experience with data manipulation tools such as Excel and SQL or any other data manipulation tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Communication skills, comfortable with talking to users both within and outside the team, to people more senior than yourself 

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge of key Liquidity Risk reports (e.g. LCR, NSFR, 6G, PRA110, Liquidity Stress Testing, etc), and legislation (e.g. BCBS239, Basel III);
• Business analyst skills including data interrogation, user story creation and system UAT testing
• Experience of working in change programmes in a bank with data interrogation and manipulation skills
• Experience of working with technology and business process owners across the organisation
• Continuous improvement mindset to drive an improved operating environment
