Risk and Control Objective

Introduction:
An ideal candidate in this role would be responsible for managing the MOR India Technology operations and provide the overall Technology Leadership
What will you be doing?
- Liaise with Global MOR Lead for delivery roadmap and program execution across functional vertical pillars
- Provide technology leadership to enhance, implement and update the current architecture from time to time
- Provide technical and leadership guidance to the India MOR Leads across functional pillars of Supervision, Control, Surveillance and Data Analytics Platform.
- Be accountable for the release and governance of all the deliverables from MOR India teams.
- Be accountable for the code quality and design aspect of the deliverables from MOR india teams
- Be the domain expert on the team and provide relevant guidance to the MOR India team
- Work with local leadership and drive the team based on Barclay’s values and principle.
- Participate in the key horizontal technical and/or social and/or architectural initiatives at MD level.
- Be responsible for the line management of the next level leadership members and be their performance mentor and manager.
- Be the champion and guardian on the SDLC processes being followed and adopted in the team.
What we’re looking for:
- Good understanding of Core Java, React, Spring, Kafka, Microservices, Openshift, MSSQL/ORACLE., Java script
- Must have strong designing and architectural skills and ideal candidate should be able to critique the technical designs.
- Strong understanding of release management, change management and problem management.
- Strong understanding of Agile Methodologies and should have excellent command over the Scrum framework
Skills that will help you in the role
- Good to have exposure to the cloud development, big data and analytics and machine learning.
- Good to have exposure to CI/CD and understanding of DevSecOps.
- Good to have experience in handling audits and related documentation and strong understanding of the process.
- Exposure to Market Risk & Control Domain would be an added advantage.
