Job Description

Designation: Bakery Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the bakery production unit to drive business growth and expansion.

2. Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and business objectives.

3. Ensure high-quality products, maintain quality control processes, and implement quality assurance measures.

4. Manage inventory levels, track stock, and optimize storage to minimize waste and reduce costs.

5. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.

6. Develop new products, menus, and recipes to stay competitive and meet customer demands.

7. Collaborate with the management team to develop business plans, budgets, and forecasts.

8. Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize financial performance.

9. Implement cost-saving initiatives, reduce waste, and optimize production processes.

10. Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement.

11. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of bakers, pastry chefs, and kitchen staff.

12. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members to improve skills and knowledge.

13. Monitor and evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans.

14. Maintain high-quality standards and achieve customer satisfaction ratings.

15. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

16. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of ingredients and materials.

Reports to Senior Operations Manager.

1. Increase revenue through new product development, market expansion, and sales growth.

3. Maintain a healthyProfit Margins through effective cost control and pricing strategies.

4. Identify opportunities to improve profitability and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
