Job Description

    You will be primarily responsible for articulating and enforcing the policies that the UCB uses to protect its information assets. This includes coordinating cyber security related issues and implementations within the Bank and relevant external agencies. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various instructions issued on information/cyber security by RBI. You will need to conduct a separate review of cyber security arrangements and preparedness of the Bank before the Board on a quarterly basis. It will also be your responsibility to bring to the notice of the Board about the vulnerabilities and cyber security risks that the Bank is exposed to. You will manage and monitor the C-SOC, drive cyber security related projects, and may have a dotted reporting line with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for driving such projects. Furthermore, you will be responsible for sustaining the compliances achieved on a year-on-year basis.

    To be eligible for this role, you should have a minimum of 15 years of IT-related work experience, with at least 10 years of experience in Information Security in Financial Institutions.
    In terms of qualifications, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, or Cyber Security. Alternatively, you could have a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Systems/IT. Higher qualifications will be given preference.

    It is essential that you possess one of the following professional certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
    In addition to the qualifications and experience, you should have exposure to Core Banking Solution, Digital Banking, Networking, and IT Infrastructure solutions. Knowledge of IT governance and compliances, as well as a requisite technical background and expertise, will be necessary for this role.,
