Job Description
- You will be responsible for leading the initiatives to ensure the sustainability strategy of The Brands, which includes efforts related to sustainability, supplier working conditions (SWC), and environmental, health & safety (EHS) management. Your role will involve driving and executing the brands" 2hidden_mobile
Engaging closely with stakeholders focusing on responsible materials and treatments, climate and energy, waste and circularity, ethical production, safety & health, and human rights, worker well-being will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. You will be required to leverage both internal and external data sources for data-driven decision-making related to sustainability and social impact. This includes reporting, system development, metrics, KPIs to track progress towards goals, streamlining data collection and reporting, and communicating progress, risks, and opportunities effectively.
You will need to assess and analyze company policies and processes to identify areas for improvement in alignment with the organization's sustainability commitments. Implementing governance systems for EHS and supplier working conditions while balancing business obligations with environmental goals will be part of your role. Additionally, evaluating the effectiveness of sustainability, EHS, and working conditions programs and recommending necessary improvements will be essential.

Your responsibilities will also include drafting reports, presentations, and proposals, presenting recommendations to key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, leading training and employee engagement initiatives, managing partnerships with sustainability/SWC enterprises, and influencing the development of KPIs related to Brand Sustainability & SWC/EHS.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Footwear or Apparel operations. A Bachelor's/College degree and an advanced degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience are required. You should be a motivated self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team-player mindset. Strong project management skills, ability to multitask, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, and the capability to analyze and synthesize quantitative data are essential for this position.,
