Job Description
- As an Intermediate Excel VBA and Power BI Developer at BCE Global Tech, you will be a crucial part of automating operational processes and creating insightful dashboards to aid BCE's business units. Your role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders from finance, operations, and technology to streamline reporting, enhance data visibility, and support strategic initiatives.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining robust Excel VBA macros to automate manual workflows and reporting processes.
- Designing and deploying Power BI dashboards for real-time insights into operational and financial performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrating data from various sources (Excel, SQL Server, SharePoint, APIs) into Power BI for unified reporting.
- Optimizing existing Excel tools and Power BI reports for performance, usability, and maintainability.
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with BCE's data governance standards.
- Documenting solutions and providing training/support to end users as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Excel VBA development.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience integrating Excel and Power BI with enterprise data sources.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
