Mercer is pleased to announce opening for the positions for FP&A CoE Reporting Associate - European Regional Coverage. Applications are invited from eligible applicants.
What can you expect:
The FP&A Reporting Associate collaborates with the European FP&A team providing trusted financial reporting. By creating, tracking and analyzing budgets, forecasts and financial results, they develop performance insights that contribute to critical business decision making and strategic plans. The role will become an expert in all FP&A reporting systems and will be expected to help with standardization of reporting and looking for efficiencies.

- Analyze basic financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations.
- Reviews and conducts simple analysis of financial planning information and reports, and makes recommendations for changes to management.
- Conducts basic audit activities, in order to comply with requirements.
- Maintains best practices policies, in order to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicates with management on a consistent basis, to ensure sound fiscal management.
- Assists in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.
- Evaluates financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.
- Assists in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives.
- Prepares financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Improves financial planning job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
What you need to have:
- Degree in finance, accounting, business or economics
- Relevant business experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar area
- Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Show initiative and contribute to a continuous improvement environment
- Proficient in MS Office, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly proficient in data analysis and data extraction and manipulation
- Comfortable presenting to regional team members; able to appropriately challenge team

Eligibility:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience overall
