Job Description

Role Overview:
The AV Head will spearhead Audio-Visual business portfolio, responsible for driving P&L growth, leading the AV delivery and operations team, ensuring excellence in project execution, and strengthening OEM/vendor partnerships. This role serves as the key interface for enterprise customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery, scalable operations, and expansion of the AV collaboration business across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead and manage the national AV collaboration business, owning topline and bottom-line delivery.
- Act as a sales enabler, supporting teams with technical expertise and solution articulation.
- Allocate responsibilities, track team performance, and ensure on-time delivery of all AV projects.
- Build team capability through continuous training, upskilling, and certification on emerging AV technologies.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and maintain high standards of efficiency, discipline, and productivity.
2. Business Expansion & Strategy
- Drive growth of the AV portfolio by creating and executing a national AV strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales and Presales teams to deepen AV penetration in existing accounts and acquire new enterprise customers.
- Enable teams to demonstrate solution value, deliver impactful presentations, and support the sales lifecycle.
- Use customer insights and field feedback to influence solution improvements, new offerings, and upgrades.
- Partner with Marketing to run demand-generation campaigns and AV-focused brand initiatives.


3. AV Operations & Service Excellence
- Oversee AV support operations, ensuring SLA adherence and timely closure of client issues.
- Lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for recurring issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
- Standardize installation processes, quality checklists, documentation, and delivery frameworks.
- Ensure availability of tools, accessories, and AV equipment required for project execution.
4. Vendor & OEM Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison with all AV OEMs (e.g., Logitech, Poly, Bose, Shure, Extron, Crestron).
- Manage AMC deliveries, escalations, RMAs, and vendor-led service support.
- Evaluate vendor performance, ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Coordinate joint customer demos, trainings, and technology workshops with OEM partners.
5. Client Engagement & Escalation Management
- Act as a senior technical authority for enterprise customers.
- Handle escalations efficiently and ensure consistent communication between clients and internal teams.
- Conduct periodic review meetings on project progress, service quality, and AV system performance.
- Support Enterprise Business Managers with post-sales insights and technical engagement.
6. Project Governance & Reporting

- Maintain complete visibility of AV project timelines, risks, dependencies, and progress.
- Present weekly reports covering project status, team performance, escalations, and improvement plans.
- Monitor project profitability, optimize resource utilization, and ensure cost-effective execution.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in AV integration: LED displays, video conferencing systems, projectors, control systems, DSPs, audio setups, networked AV, and collaboration technologies.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise AV implementation, troubleshooting, and support.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead multi-location teams and manage large-scale operations.
- Strong stakeholder communication, client handling, and collaboration skills.
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in AV portfolio management or enterprise AV solutions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading AV teams or managing AV operations.
- Experience in system integration (SI) environments is preferred
