Job Description
- As a Sr. Research And Development Executive at Beauty Garage in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in leading the research and development of innovative hair care products. Your responsibilities will include designing and formulating cutting-edge cosmetic solutions, conducting sensory evaluations, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stay updated on industry trends, and oversee R&D projects from inception to completion.
Your key responsibilities will involve developing cosmetic formulations for haircare products, evaluating raw materials for quality and compliance, conducting product testing including stability assessments, and ensuring adherence to global cosmetic regulations. You will work closely with Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive product development initiatives and document all formulation and test data accurately.
To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cosmetic formulation or R&D. Sound knowledge of cosmetic chemistry, global regulatory standards, and proficiency in formulation software such as Formulatel or Cosmetix will be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this position.
