Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned senior manager with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, excellent strategic thinking skills, and the ability to both envision bold ideas and turn them into reality. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Tamil, willing to work in Southern Tamil Nadu, and possess a proven track record of driving growth in startups or established companies and preferably supported by a technical or engineering background.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Setup & Management
- Oversee the design and establishment of a fully operational industrial spare parts showroom.
- Manage inventory, pricing strategies, and merchandising to cater to industries like matchbox, textile, printing and fireworks.
- Ensure the showroom operates efficiently, meeting customer demands with a comprehensive range of products.
Channel & Dealership Development
- Develop and manage distribution channels for industrial components such as bearings, penumatics, gearboxes, sensors and PLCs.
- Build dealership networks in regions like Kovilpatti and Sivakasi, securing exclusive agreements.
- Foster long-term partnerships with vendors to ensure reliable supply and mutually beneficial terms.
Marketing & Advertising
- Work closely with marketing partners to design and implement comprehensive online and offline campaigns, enhancing local brand visibility through both print and digital channels.
- Oversee development of Tamil and English language YouTube videos and other digital campaigns to promote products.
- Coordinate with designers to produce effective marketing materials (pamphlets, posters, etc.) for targeted advertising.
Event Management
- Plan and oversee the companys participation in trade expos and industrial events across India.
- Collaborate with stall designers to create visually impactful and functional booths that showcase the companys offerings.
- Manage event logistics and engage with clients, distributors, and partners to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing marketing and sales team.
- Establish performance targets and foster a results-driven culture.
Market Expansion & Growth
- Explore new markets and business ventures to expand the companys reach, including potential entry into the food industry.
- Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends in automation and industrial solutions.
Experience
- Proven entrepreneurial experience or significant contributions to early-stage business growth.
- Prior experience in top-level management roles in industrial or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales and marketing.
