• Position: Assistant Manager / Manager - Logistic (International)
• Department: SCM / Logistic
• Location: Hyderabad

To oversee and optimize the supply chain, warehousing, distribution, and transportation activities across our CRO & CDMO operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmaceutical logistics, a deep understanding of regulatory compliance (GDP, GMP), and a proven ability to manage complex logistics operations in a highly regulated environment.

Job Profile

• Develop & implement logistics strategies to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage & coordinate domestic & international logistics for inbound & outbound shipments of raw materials, intermediates, & finished products.
• Manage both project-related logistics like job works and other organizational logistics operations as required.
• Build & maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Implement digital / logistics software tools to streamline operations and reporting.
• Optimize logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, inventory turnover.
• Monitor & track shipment status and proactively address any delays or disruptions.
• Oversee warehouse and inventory management, ensuring proper storage conditions & real-time stock visibility.
• Prepare all export and import documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain and organize all import/export documentation and liaise with the accounts team for reconciliation and reporting.
• Coordinate with clearing agents and freight forwarders for shipment handling and customs clearance.
• Supervise packing and labelling of shipments to ensure accuracy, product integrity, and compliance with applicable standards and client specifications.
• Lead logistics-related audits and inspections; maintain required documentation for traceability and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GMP, GDP, IATA, DOT, etc.) in handling, storing, and transporting pharmaceutical goods.
• Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, quality assurance, production, and project management to align logistics activities with project timelines and client requirements.

• Any Graduate + Diploma / Certificate in SCM / Logistic / Operation with 5 to 10 yrs experience in experience in logistics / supply chain management, preferably within a CRO, CDMO, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.
• Experience with cold chain logistics and handling of controlled substances is a plus.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (GMP, GDP etc.).
• A proven ability to manage complex logistics operations in a highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with ERP and logistics management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
