ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Trainer Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist at Bhanzu, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of bringing new trainers into our ecosystem from sourcing and screening candidates to ensuring they are fully set up, onboarded, and ready to deliver exceptional learning experiences. This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role that sits at the intersection of recruitment operations, people coordination, and process management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Talent Sourcing & Lead Generation

● Generate candidate leads through multiple hiring platforms including online and offline channels; continuously identify and evaluate new sourcing avenues to expand the hiring pipeline.

● Review and validate inbound candidate leads against defined criteria and assign qualified profiles to the hiring team for further assessment.

Hiring Funnel & Operations

● Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of the hiring funnel; maintain accurate trackers, status updates, and dashboards to ensure full visibility across stakeholders.

● Ensure all interview slots are effectively filled and that interviews are conducted smoothly, with no operational gaps or scheduling conflicts.

● Coordinate and schedule orientation sessions for all candidates who clear interviews, ensuring a structured and timely transition into the next stage.

● Ensure all planned training cohorts are launched as per monthly projections and business demand, working closely with internal stakeholders to meet headcount targets.

● Coordinate with the Trainer Resource Management team to onboard training-cleared candidates based on active business requirements and trainer capacity needs.

● Manage end-to-end onboarding operations and finance coordination.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

● Minimum 4-5 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR operations; EdTech or education sector experience is a strong advantage.

● Prior exposure to trainer, teacher, or tutor hiring pipelines is highly preferred.

● Demonstrated team management and stakeholder coordination skills with the ability to drive operational efficiency across cross-functional teams.

● Excellent organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple parallel workstreams without dropping the ball.

● Proficiency in maintaining and updating trackers, MIS, and dashboards (Google Sheets / Excel).

● Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams including Finance, Operations, and HR.

● Detail-oriented with a high sense of ownership and accountability.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.

GOOD TO HAVE

● Experience running offline hiring drives or campus recruitment.

● Familiarity with HR/admin tools and onboarding systems.

● Prior experience coordinating with Finance teams for payroll-related data sharing.

● Working knowledge of Google Workspace administration (account creation, deactivation).
