Job Description
Business Development & Sales
- Drive insurance sales through partner bank branches within the assigned area.
- Achieve business targets (premium, revenue, product mix, persistency) as per company objectives.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximize wallet share.
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with bank branch managers, cluster heads, and staff.
- Ensure alignment between bank stakeholders and company objectives.
- Conduct regular joint business reviews with bank leadership.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Relationship Managers/Partner Support staff.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to improve productivity.
- Ensure effective deployment of manpower across branches.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal processes.
- Ensure accurate documentation, policy issuance, and timely service delivery.
- Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and claims experience.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Track competitor activities and market trends to identify business opportunities.
- Work closely with zonal/regional teams to design and implement area-level strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales & revenue targets.
- Productivity per branch and per Relationship Manager.
- Quality metrics Persistency, claims ratio, compliance adherence.
- Partner satisfaction score.
- Employee engagement and retention in the assigned area.

- Graduate/MBA with 6-12 years of experience in sales/distribution, preferably in Bancassurance, Banking, or Insurance.
- Proven track record of managing multi-branch/channel sales.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
