Job Description

The Training & Development Executive for illy at Bidfood ME is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and overall brand experience for both internal teams and external clients. This role is essential in maintaining illys premium brand standards while supporting the growth of the coffee business across the Middle East.
Core Task & Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for baristas, sales teams, and customers, including coffee preparation, sensory skills, and product knowledge.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and certifications.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to identify training needs and develop tailored content.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and quality across all training programs.
  • Support the rollout of new products and promotional activities through targeted training.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coffee industry trends and best practices.
  • Organize and lead coffee appreciation sessions and client visits to the illy training center.
  • Assist with the development of training materials, manuals, and digital learning content.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts to reinforce brand loyalty and customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Experience
Educational & Professional Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Certified Coffee Professional (e.g., SCA Certification, Barista Skills, Coffee Sensory).
  • 2-4 years of experience in training, customer service, or the coffee industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

    Creative approach to training design and content development.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for coffee.
Technical & Industry Knowledge
  • Barista Skills:Advanced coffee brewing, milk texturing, espressopreparation.
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS): Experience using digital trainingplatforms.
  • Ability to create engaging trainingmaterials.
  • Microsoft Office:PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for training materials andreports.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)Tools
