Job Description

As an animator, your role will involve designing and producing animations, motion graphics, and short-form videos for various platforms such as social media, websites, and digital campaigns. You will collaborate with creative and marketing teams to create animated assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Storyboarding animation concepts and presenting visual ideas for approval will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will edit and enhance video content by incorporating animation, transitions, text overlays, and visual effects. It will be essential to optimize animations for different platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, websites, and ads. Staying updated on the latest animation trends, techniques, and tools is crucial, as well as managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Your qualifications should include proven experience as an animator, motion designer, or in a similar role. Proficiency in animation software like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop is required. A strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling is essential, along with the ability to take creative direction and collaborate effectively in a team. You should have a robust portfolio showcasing your animation and motion design work, demonstrating attention to detail and a keen visual sense.
Preferred qualifications for this role include a Bachelors degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field. Experience in creating animations specifically for digital marketing or advertising campaigns is advantageous. An understanding of branding, advertising strategies, and user engagement is beneficial, while basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or interactive media is considered a bonus.
