Job Description
Role Overview
Were looking for a driven and well-connected Sales Professional with experience in D2C skincare/cosmetics or FMCG sales. The ideal candidate should have a proven network of distributors, dealers, and retail partners, and strong expertise in retail management, cash collection, and sales execution.
This role involves frequent travel, relationship management, and end-to-end responsibility for expanding BioArts retail and distribution footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, dealers, and key retail partners across regions.
- Retail Management: Ensure product placement, visibility, and availability across outlets; plan and execute trade marketing and retail activation programs.
- Sales Operations: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets; track primary and secondary sales; monitor inventory movement and reorder levels.
- Cash & Collections: Manage payment cycles, follow up for timely collections, and ensure adherence to company credit policies.
- Market Expansion: Conduct territory mapping, explore new market opportunities, and recommend region-specific growth strategies.
- Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and trade influencers.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare sales reports, competitor analysis, and market feedback for management review.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively for distributor visits, market audits, and retail checks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams for seamless execution of trade initiatives and order fulfilment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 36 years of experience in sales and distribution within skincare, cosmetics/beauty, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong network of distributors, dealers, and retail partners in the skincare, cosmetics/beauty and wellness space.
- Experience in retail operations, collections, and sales reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive travel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
