Job Description
- As a Windchill Migration Architect, your role involves being an expert in Windchill Migration using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) with a track record of executing 5-7 Windchill migration projects using WBM. You will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing PLM systems and establish migration requirements. Developing detailed migration strategies, roadmaps, and architectures for PTC Windchill will be a key responsibility. Leading end-to-end migration projects, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities will also be part of your role. Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance during migration processes is crucial. You will design and implement tools/scripts for data mapping and validation and identify risks, devising mitigation strategies for successful execution. Providing technical expertise in PTC Windchill and related technologies, including integration with CAD and ERP systems, is essential. Conducting system performance evaluations post-migration and resolving any technical issues are also important. Mentoring team members and ensuring knowledge transfer for long-term system stability will be required. Additionally, you should have expertise in WBM tool execution (Extraction, Transformation & Loading), experience in data migration including CAD Data migration, and experience in at least one non-Windchill to Windchill data migration. A good understanding of Windchill Architecture, database, Windchill object models, relationships, and content is necessary. Experience working with customers for Migration Requirements Gathering, Source Data Analysis, and Data Mapping is expected. Having scripting knowledge on databases like Oracle/SQL Server with large data set analysis, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience on Med devices or MFG domain is required
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience
- 10+ years direct work experience in migration projects including all aspects of process development and execution
- Exposure to Medical Devices Industry and delivered projects in that space with knowledge around UDI and Regulatory Hub
- Competent and proficient understanding of enterprise-wide solutions, such as ERP, PLM, and others.,
