Assistant Manager - Trading & Distribution - Industrial Solvents

Mandatory Experience:
- 3-4+ years of experience in trading, distribution, or B2B sales of industrial solvents (e.g., ethyl acetate, toluene, xylene, methanol, phenol).
About the Role:
We are looking for a commercially sharp professional to lead the launch and scale-up of our Solvents vertical. This is a high-impact role where you will drive end-to-end trade execution from supplier onboarding to buyer closure while managing price volatility and margin optimization in a zero-inventory model.
Key Responsibilities:

- Build and manage supply-side relationships with domestic manufacturers, refineries, and importers of industrial solvents.
- Execute back-to-back trades matching buyer purchase orders with real-time supplier availability.
- Monitor international and domestic price movements to identify arbitrage opportunities.
- Expand market presence across paints, inks, pharmaceuticals, and other solvent-consuming industries.
- Drive transaction velocity and scale the vertical from the ground up.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3-4+ years of experience in trading, distribution, or B2B sales of industrial solvents (e.g., ethyl acetate, toluene, xylene, methanol, phenol).
- Strong network among chemical distributors, terminal operators, or procurement heads.
- Deep understanding of price dynamics and market intelligence in the chemical sector.
- Comfortable using data and technology to drive decisions not just manual coordination.
