BlackBuck - Category Manager - Telematics

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Category Manager - Telematics to drive category growth, optimize performance, and manage end-to-end category operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders, and leveraging data to make strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the overall category strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to improve category performance.

- Define and implement pricing and promotional strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

- Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional support.

- Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to drive category initiatives.

- Monitor and report category performance KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.

- Conduct regular category reviews, including competitive benchmarking and innovation planning.

- Manage the product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation.

- Forecast demand and coordinate with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

- Ensure category strategies align with brand positioning and profitability goals.
Key Requirements:

- 3-4 years of relevant experience in category management, preferably in telematics/automotive/technology domains.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Willingness to travel 7-10 days per month.
