Job Title:Manager : Truck Placement / Logistics Operations

Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations

and team handling

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the truck placement team of 50 + to ensure timely vehicle availability for goods movement as per company/client requirements.
  
• Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with truck owners, transporters, and brokers from the market.
  
• 
  Negotiate freight rates effectively to achieve cost optimization while maintaining service quality.
  
• Monitor truck deployment, track vehicle movement, and ensure on-time deliveries.
  
• Handle day-to-day operational issues related to trucks, drivers, and transport partners.
  
• Maintain a strong database and network of reliable truck owners and transport brokers.
  
• Resolve escalation issues promptly and ensure smooth coordination between clients and the operations team.
  
• Analyze market trends, freight rates, and truck availability to plan placement strategies.
  
• Ensure all logistics operations are executed within company policies and compliance guidelines.
  
• Prepare and review placement reports and performance metrics for management review.
