Job Description
Job Title:Truck Placement Officer / Truck Placement Lead
Location: Chennai - Madhavaram
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Trucks Placement from Marketplace.
Language Requirement:Must be fluent in Hindi (spoken)
- Responsible for placement of commercial trucks for goods movement as per company/client requirements.
- Identify and engage with truck owners, and transporters from market to ensure timely truck availability.
- Negotiate freight rates with truck owners to achieve cost-effective pricing.
- Maintain strong relationships with transporters and ensure smooth operations.
- Track truck movement and ensure timely delivery.
- Handle day-to-day operational issues related to trucks and drivers.
- Prior experience in truck placement & price negotiation roles.
- Strong network of truck owners and transport brokers.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of truck routes, freight charges, and market trends.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet placement deadlines.
