Cluster Manager - Purchase Operations

Role Overview:
The Cluster Manager of Purchase Operations will report to the Zonal Head of Operations for Inventory Management. This role focuses on optimizing purchase order management and order fulfillment to ensure product availability across 200+ vendors while balancing inventory levels in our Fulfillment Centers (FCs).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing ordering operations and inventory planning
- Oversee scheduled and ad-hoc purchase orders
- Ensure optimal days of inventory and fill rates
- Handle daily inbound and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) management
- Coordinate vendor schedules and manage vendor relationships
- Monitor payments and commercials
- Collaborate with vendors to enhance fill rate and scheduling performance
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in FMCG/Retail
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel; basic SQL knowledge is a plus
- Strong team management and analytical skills
- Results-oriented with a high degree of ownership
