Finance And Accounting Manager – IT Staffing & Travel Management

BlockTXM Inc is a dynamic IT staffing firm with a vision to grow to a 200-member team. TravelXM Inc, a travel management company based in Costa Rica, specializes in curated travel experiences and corporate retreats. Both companies are committed to excellence in their fields, with BlockTXM focusing on IT staffing and TravelXM delivering high-quality travel experiences. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for both businesses, playing a key role in supporting their growth.

Job Summary:

The Finance and Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing all financial operations across both BlockTXM Inc and TravelXM Inc. This includes accounting, financial planning, tax compliance, and payroll, with a specialized focus on the financial aspects of IT staffing and the travel industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to manage day-to-day financial tasks while contributing to the long-term financial planning of both companies.

Key Responsibilities:

# Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop and implement tailored financial strategies for both IT staffing and travel services.

- Prepare budgets and forecasts to guide business decisions across both companies.

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks relevant to each business.

# Accounting and Financial Reporting:

- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger for BlockTXM and TravelXM.

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for each company.

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

# Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure both companies maintain adequate liquidity.

- Implement cash management strategies to optimize working capital across both entities.

# Tax Compliance:

- Handle tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations for BlockTXM (US and India) and TravelXM (Costa Rica).

- Stay updated with tax law changes affecting both industries and coordinate with external tax advisors as needed.

# Payroll and Benefits Administration:

- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws across jurisdictions.

- Manage employee benefits for both BlockTXM and TravelXM teams.

# Internal Controls and Risk Management:

- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets for both companies.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks specific to IT staffing and travel operations.

# Financial Systems and Processes:

- Implement and maintain financial systems to streamline operations and documentation of financial policies for both companies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting/finance, with expertise in US, India, and Costa Rica taxation.

- Proven experience in financial planning, specifically for IT staffing and travel industries.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
