Job Description
The incumbent will play a role in the finance function and help manage its payables and MIS processes.Responsibilities
- Run the entire payable sub-function
- Adopt all financial policies diligently
- Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations related to accounts payable, related general Ledger, and reconciliation
- Support month closure, internal and statutory audits
- Lead all reconciliations across vendors, customers, GLs, reimbursements, and employee settlements
- Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Very thorough and efficient in inventory accounting
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity.
- Responsible for monthly tax compliance
- Support ERP implementation and transition
- An individual who is diligent and detail-oriented
- Possess good communication with the ability to interact with other functions
- Keen to learn and adopt technology for the finance function

- Commerce graduate / CA (Inter) with 4-9 years of experience
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably experience in implementation
- Work exposure to major audit firms or exposure to audits with Big4
- Ability to use modern accounting tools.
- Fast learner with enough experience to plan/build and execute processes and planning for long-term sustainability, viability, and profits.
- Reasonable commercial acumen & strong work ethic having excellent persuasive communication and analytical skills.
- Note: Inventory Accounting experience of at least 2 years is a must
