Job Description
- Role Overview:
As an Operations Staff responsible for van pickup and delivery, your main role will involve route wise loading of shipments, delivering shipments to the correct customers, and ensuring proper handling of various processes such as POD/FOD/DOD/COD. Your goal will be to meet the Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) and achieve the Service Quality (SQ) targets set by the company. Additionally, you will be required to follow the appointment delivery process and maintain a proper dress code with a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route wise loading of shipments with proper tally
- Delivering shipments to the right customers
- Following the POD/FOD/DOD/COD process and maintaining the delivery run sheet
- Assigning proper status codes for undelivered shipments
- Handing over COD/DOD/FOD on the same day
- Ensuring undelivered shipments are handed over to the supervisor
- Following the appointment delivery process
- Maintaining a proper dress code with a customer-centric approach
- Conducting pickups as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Timely pickups at customer locations as per cut-off timing
- Executing airwaybills and tallying shipments at the customer place as per the invoice
- Collecting relevant regulatory paperwork
- Maintaining the pickup sheet
- Checking the condition of packages at the time of pickup

Qualifications Required:
- Prior experience in logistics or delivery operations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and timelines effectively
- Good communication skills and a customer-centric approach
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to pickup and delivery operations
