Job Description
- As a Data Annotation Specialist for LiDAR 3D Process, your role will involve annotating and labeling 3D point cloud data acquired from LiDAR sensors to ensure the creation of high-quality datasets. These datasets are crucial for AI/ML model training in various fields such as autonomous driving, robotics, and 3D mapping applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and comprehend project requirements related to LiDAR 3D annotation tasks.
- Accurately label and categorize 3D point cloud data based on specified guidelines.
- Segment various objects like vehicles, pedestrians, road signs, lanes, and environmental features within 3D datasets.
- Utilize specialized LiDAR annotation tools to mark bounding boxes, cuboids, and perform semantic segmentation.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy in annotations across all projects.
- Review and validate labeled data to ensure quality and adherence to project standards.
- Meet productivity and quality targets within project timelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in data annotation, preferably in LiDAR 3D point cloud processing.
- Familiarity with LiDAR annotation tools such as Labelbox, Supervisely, Scalabel, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of 3D geometry, spatial awareness, and object classification.
- Basic knowledge of autonomous driving datasets and labeling standards would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to precisely follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Proficiency in using 3D visualization software like Blender, CloudCompare, Open3D.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and dataset preparation.
- Previous involvement in autonomous vehicle projects.
