Position Purpose

As a member of the IT Regulatory Reporting team, the Configuration Specialist will analyze business and functional requirements and will work with Solution architect, project manager and other configuration specialists in order to deliver the design documents and the technical specification documents and also build and implement the described solutions within Axiom Controller View.

The Configuration Specialist will be part of the project team in charge of implementing multiple Axiom related projects, and will work closely with the Finance Project Office and Axiom SL team on implementing new reports required by regulatory agencies (Fed, OSFI)

The optimal candidate will be one with 5+ years of programming or datawarehousing experience using SQL, Oracle and an object-oriented programming language, as well as very strong data modelling skills and the ability to understand business terms that need to be translated into actual MDRM mapping.

Responsibilities

Business Analyst Responsibilities

o Elicit, analyze, and document Business/Functional requirements and procedure documents

o Plan, test and document UAT/System/Integration testing up to successful delivery of project

o Co-ordinate with the stakeholders on sign off and approval of User/Business requirement, Test cases and Test results

o Deliver Functional Support and Business Analysis within agreed timeframe and managing issues and timely escalations

o Be well versed with regulatory reporting concepts and Finance reporting knowhow.

o Liaise with cross-functional teams, business groups, IT and PMO organizations in New York, New Jersey, California, Montreal, Mumbai, London and Paris.

o Provide effective support to Axiom regulatory Reporting system users as part of the rotational process

• SQL knowledge is important for analysis and troubleshooting support requests

o Strong Microsoft software Office skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint )

o Knowledge/experience of: SQL, Oracle basic to intermediate query building
