About Businessline/Function :
The Intermediate Holding Company (“IHC”) program structured at the U.S. level across poles of activities of BNP Paribas provides guidance, supports the analysis, impact assessment and drives adjustments of the U.S. platform’s operating model due to the drastic changes introduced by the Enhanced Prudential Standards (“EPS”) for Foreign Banking Organizations (“FBOs”) finalized by the Federal Reserve in February 2014, implementing Section 165 of U.S Dodd-Frank Act.
The IT Transversal Team is part of the Information Technology Group which works simultaneously on a wide range of projects arising from business, strategic initiatives, regulatory changes and reengineering of existing applications to improve functionality and efficiency.

Position Purpose
Requirement gathering – Work with requirement providers and onsite team based in Jersey City and Montreal to gather and analyze requirements, conduct and participate in meetings / workshops to understand requirements.

• Analysis – Conduct functional/ Technical/ impact analysis. Write functional / Technical specifications for offshore development team based in Mumbai.
• Data Preparation and Reporting- Data transformation / wrangling using Alteryx/Python and Creating Power BI reports as per the requirements of Onshore on the Data outputs of Alteryx to show the trends, correlations between facts and dimensions. Defining of KPI’s and assist, guide in better visualization of the data to bring out insights.
• Testing – Support SIT / UAT and Regression testing. Create test cases as needed for testing. Update the tools for governance and management on daily / weekly basis to track the progress of work. Work on defect resolution on defects raised by Users.
  

Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities ;

• Data modeling and visualization in Power BI on the analyzed data set to provide business insights.

• Work on Data preparation using Alteryx or Python on the Analyzed data set to define the data requirement for PBI.
• Analyze huge data and identify any functional gaps on Data front and Data Quality.
• Perform detailed analysis on data / functional gaps, conduct / organize sessions with Stakeholders/ Clients, to discuss / brainstorm these gaps and present these functional gaps in a summarized manner to Domain Stakeholders/ Clients.
• Explain the analyzed data sets on data gaps to business/ Data providers so that they can provide the correct data sets for the delivery.
• Develop test cases if required aimed at validating development for a given requirement and record them in the official test management platform.
  

Contributing Responsibilities :

• Partner with Onshore leads to present the created solution, Share the knowledge and provide training if required.
• Produce and distribute daily/weekly team Status reports and contribute to project status reporting depending on the undertaking at hand
• Create Documentation as per the project need, perform knowledge transfer and cross training for proper backup in team.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Understanding of Power BI tool. With knowledge of basic Power Query and DAX.
• Understanding of Alteryx or Python to do data manipulation/ Analysis for various data models for reporting.
• Understanding of various data models for extraction of required data sets to be consumed for PBI reporting.
• Able to work with different data sets and create relational models.
• Ability to Adapt to new technologies and flare to learn and implement projects with new technologies.
  

Specific Qualifications (if Required)
Bachelor’s degree in computer application, MCA or BE, Any other degree with Course in software preferably in data analysis or data science. Inclination on Data Analysis, visualization and data science with experience in the below:-

• Data Analysis and Dash boarding.
• Data preparation for reporting
