Job Description
- As a Business Analyst at Booking Holdings India (BHI) Center of Excellence (CoE), your primary responsibility will be to support Internal Control & Assurance (IC&A) by testing business controls. You will focus on testing internal controls to ensure controls assurance for Financial Services entities in the UK and Ireland. As an IC&A Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert, advising the Risk team on controls design, deficiencies evaluation, and improvements based on best practices and regulator expectations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing and leading end-to-end testing for assigned areas
- Designing and executing day-to-day testing activities of Business controls, particularly focusing on regulatory/compliance related risks
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting information to assess and conclude on each testing area with clear documentation
- Identifying gaps in design and execution, and communicating issues and recommendations to the R&C team and control owners
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation such as process walkthrough documentation and control testing documentation
- Collaborating and partnering with R&C to ensure internal controls are well-designed and documented, strengthening the control environment, mitigating risks, and supporting business objectives
- Contributing to continuous improvement of IC&A capabilities and governance within R&C from a control testing perspective
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A strong background in regulatory compliance driven audits and internal control testing, including SOX, as an internal/external auditor
- 4+ years of experience in compliance, internal controls, internal/external audit, with international team exposure
- Strong experience in designing and/or testing Business controls
- Understanding of risk management fields and frameworks, including SOx and COSO
- Strong working knowledge of SOX

- Capability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Professional certification such as CPA/ACCA/CIA (or similar) would be advantageous
- A relevant Bachelor's degree is required
