Job Description
- Role Overview:
You will be joining the Financial Systems team at Booking Holdings Bangalore as an SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) AMS Support Engineer. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth integration and maintenance of SAP Convergent Mediation solutions, focusing on data flow management, interface monitoring, incident handling, and performance tuning. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of SAP specialists, engineers, and product managers to support business-critical systems interfacing with SAP FICA and SAP CI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain SAP CM interfaces, resolving issues to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Actively monitor Kafka, CM workflows, and upstream/downstream systems for errors. Handle P1 incidents, manage bug fixes, and change requests.
- Track the health of Kafka consumers/producers and CM workflows, optimizing performance to handle large data volumes efficiently.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerts for system health, interface execution, and Kafka DLQs using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Ensure regular backups of CM configurations and support recovery processes in case of failures.
- Support CI/CD pipeline activities and assist in documenting WRICEF and SOPs.
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP CM workflows, assist in training, and share knowledge with internal teams.
- Help develop monitoring frameworks, including Grafana dashboards and performance metrics, to ensure system health.
- Adhere to secure programming practices and assist with audit/compliance activities related to system changes and incident handling.
Qualifications Required:
- 0-5 years of experience in SAP CM, BRIM, related SAP implementation, and/or support roles.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root-cause analysis for incidents.
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
- Basic knowledge of SAP Convergent Mediation by Digital Route, Kafka, and integration technologies (REST APIs, FTP).
- Hands-on experience with Grafana dashboard setup, log aggregation tools like Loki, and Linux Bash scripting.
- Exposure to ITIL processes and incident management tools.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.,
