Job Overview
We are now looking for a Team Lead, Risk & Control to help build and lead a new dedicated team in our CoE focused on Segregation of Duties (SoD). You will be responsible for managing a team directly working on SoD control execution, including SoD ruleset build and maintenance, conflict summary analysis report generation and review with applicable Risk Owner on the business & IT side.
The R&C SoD Team Lead is also a subject matter expert, responsible for advising the Risk team on IT compliance (incl. SOx), controls design and risk assessment practices across multiple business functions from SoD standpoint.
A successful risk professional requires a dynamic personality and ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment. Furthermore, Team Lead should be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, be able to balance multiple competing priorities, and strive for continuous improvement to drive beneficial business outcomes.
B. responsible: key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage a small team directly working on SoD control execution
- Take ownership for team results and provide daily leadership to a team to achieve the targets and deadlines
- Work with stakeholders to evaluate Segregation of Duties conflicts in SAP and other applications and consult with business units in reducing the SoD conflicts and/or implementing mitigation controls to address risk
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including flow charts, process narratives and risk and control matrices, segregation of duties matrices and any others required
- Review and approve changes to system user roles on Segregation of Duties from SoD Risk & Controls lead standpoint
- Review and assess the impact of new custom tcodes on SoD matrix and rulesets
- Constantly think of improvements to the existing process of SoD control execution
- Help on evaluation of options to automate the SoD conflicts analysis and control execution, including support of applications integration process
- Perform quarterly SoD certifications with respective risk owners
- Collaborate & participate within R&C to continuously improve the R&C’s capabilities and governance from SoD standpoint
- Collaborate with the recruitment team in the recruitment process and onboarding of new team members
B. Skilled
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT & Business Risk Management, IT Frameworks, Governance and Controls, Segregation of Duties
- 6+ years of experience gained within compliance, internal controls, and/or audit, including experience leading teams in an international environment
- Practical experience with ERP (SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC preferred) systems
- Practical experience with other SAP technologies (e.g., HANA DB, GRC, Security Weaver) is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of SOX
- Good understanding of overall business processes, specifically period end accounting & reporting, and understanding of record to report (R2R) & procure to pay (P2P) processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills (risk/function owners, auditors)
- Ability to multitask and successfully manage multiple priorities and projects
- Strong work ethic, enthusiastic, self-starting, adaptable and enjoys change in a super engaged team
- Independent and autonomous, while still a strong team player
- Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken
