Financial Analyst - Upstream

What role you will play in team: You will support the financial planning and analysis of upstream oil and gas operations.

What you will do: You'll analyze financial data, prepare reports, and support budget development.

Key responsibility:

• Analyze financial performance of upstream projects.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and presentations.
• Develop and maintain financial models.
• Support budget preparation and forecasting processes.

• Perform variance analysis and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with operations teams to provide financial insights.
• Adhere to bp's financial policies and procedures.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the energy industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Hyperion).
