Job Description

Knowledge in Fabrication Operations, Production, Quality Cladding & Cladex, Clad Plates, Testing, Installing Sheets, Inspection & IMS reports, Costing, Budgeting, and working knowledge on SAP
Roles
  • Ensures production planning and control is as per the customer delivery requirements
  • Plans cladding work depending on the Raw materials & Cladex availability so that customer requirement can be fulfilled in time
  • Ensures defect-free clad plates with 100 PERCENT UT testing
  • Ensures product quality is as per relevant quality standards
  • Reviews production schedules to ascertain workload and prepares schedules as per work priorities
  • Free Workshop
    Monitors and solves problems related to metallurgy through involvement of quality control & utilizing adequate testing techniques and methods based on application
  • Maintains and Monitors in-time inspection for raw materials and finished goods
  • Monitors and checks the products before requisitioning for third-party inspection
  • Coordinates and facilitates third-party inspection as per Purchase order terms
  • Prepares inspection and testing reports on a regular basis
  • Monitors end-to-end and stage-wise documentation on a regular basis
  • Reviews raw material test reports to determine that physical characteristics of sample specimens meet metallurgical specifications
  • Responsible for IMS audit and ensures availability of documentation as required

    Ensures procurement of consumables on time and ensure on-time production
  • Ensures cost control on consumables, production process, and finished goods
  • Monitors the dispatch of clad plates / finished product as per schedule
  • Ensures all maintenance functions are to be placed on time
  • Coordinates with other functional departments as per requirements (QC / Stores / IR etc.)
  • Monitors regular updating of statutory records related to PESO and other statutory agencies
  • Ensures that all the safety norms are adhered during operation processes
  • Oversees maintenance of all equipment including on-time calibration
