Job Description

The Data Scientist positions for Retail Pricing Optimization and Retail Demand Forecasting are technical roles requiring strong Python and AWS skills. As a Data Scientist specializing in Retail Pricing Optimization, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing pricing models to maximize revenue and profitability, analyzing large datasets to optimize pricing strategies, utilizing Python and AWS cloud services for data processing and computation, applying price elasticity models and reinforcement learning techniques, collaborating with a distributed team, and ensuring robust and scalable pricing models aligned with business objectives.

To qualify for the Retail Pricing Optimization role, you should have 3-6 years of experience in Data Science focusing on retail pricing optimization, strong expertise in Python and AWS, knowledge of pricing models and revenue management techniques, experience with A/B testing and revenue optimization models, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Experience with Big Data tools is a plus.
As a Data Scientist specializing in Retail Demand Forecasting, your responsibilities will involve building time series forecasting models, analyzing datasets to improve forecast accuracy and inventory planning, utilizing Python and AWS for data processing, applying forecasting techniques like ARIMA and XGBoost, collaborating with a distributed team, and ensuring robust forecasting models aligned with business objectives.

To qualify for the Retail Demand Forecasting role, you should have 3-6 years of experience in Data Science focusing on retail demand forecasting, strong expertise in Python and AWS, experience with time series forecasting models, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Experience with Big Data tools is also a plus.
Preferred qualifications for both roles include experience with A/B testing, reinforcement learning, or Bayesian methods, familiarity with retail analytics tools, and strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.,
