About the Role:
Were looking for a hands-on Legal Manager to partner closely with business, product, and leadership teams as we scale globally. This role sits at the intersection of international business, technology, data privacy, and commercial contracting. Youll play a key role in enabling growth while ensuring the company operates within strong legal and compliance frameworks.
What Youll Do:
- Own legal compliance for global operations stay ahead of regulatory requirements across jurisdictions where we operate.
- Drive international expansion support assist with entity setup, regulatory requirements, licensing, and cross-border operational frameworks.
- Lead data privacy & governance ensure compliance with laws like DPDP, implement data governance frameworks, and manage incident response processes.
- Manage external counsel globally coordinate litigation, regulatory matters, and local legal advice to maintain a consistent legal strategy.
- Protect the companys IP portfolio oversee trademarks and other IP assets, and monitor potential infringements.
- Be the legal partner to HR advise on employment law matters and compliance with central, state, and local labor regulations.
- Own commercial contracting draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts, SaaS agreements, technology partnerships, and service agreements.
- Support product and tech teams advise on legal implications of software, data usage, IT services, and technology partnerships.
- Strengthen vendor data protection practices through due diligence, contract safeguards, and compliance monitoring.
What Were Looking For:
- 5 - 10 years of corporate legal experience.
- Strong exposure to technology contracts, SaaS agreements, and commercial negotiations.
- Experience with data privacy frameworks (DPDP or global privacy laws).
- Familiarity with cross-border legal matters and international operations.
- A business-first mindset ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
