Job Description

We are looking for a high-intent Business Development Executive to help us grow by bringing new business opportunities. In this role, you will identify the right companies, find the right decision makers, start meaningful conversations, understand business needs, and convert those conversations into active engagements.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, confident in communication, and enjoys building relationships through a mix of outreach and consultative conversations.

Key Responsibilities

1) Identify Target Companies and Decision Makers

  • Research and build lists of companies that may need our services.
  • Identify the right points of contact such as business owners, department heads, HR leaders, or operations leaders.
  • Maintain accurate decision-maker information (name, title, email, LinkedIn, phone).

2) Outreach and Relationship Building

  • Reach out to prospects using email, phone calls, LinkedIn messages/InMail, and follow-ups.
  • Start conversations at the right time using smart triggers such as growth, expansion, hiring, new projects, leadership changes, or business news.
  • Build trust through consistent communication and professional follow-up.

3) Discovery and Pain Point Understanding

  • Ask the right questions to understand the prospects situation and priorities.
  • Identify business pain points, goals, timelines, and decision-making process.
  • Qualify opportunities based on fit, urgency, and ability to move forward.

4) Convert Opportunities into Active Business

  • Set meetings and guide prospects through next steps.
  • Share a clear explanation of how we support and what results the prospect can expect.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff and follow-through.

5) Pipeline Management and Reporting

  • Track activities and conversations in a CRM or tracker.
  • Follow up consistently to move opportunities forward.
  • Track performance metrics such as outreach volume, conversations started, meetings booked, and deals converted.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, client acquisition, business development, inside sales, or account development.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Comfortable speaking with decision makers and asking discovery questions.

  • Ability to research, find accurate contact information, and build prospect lists.
  • Highly organized and consistent with follow-ups.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
  • Basic CRM and computer skills.
  • Comfortable working shift hours from 5:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST and having your own laptop or computer to work from home.

Preferred Skills (Good to have)

  • Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting and outreach.
  • Experience in a services business, consulting, SaaS, or any B2B environment.
  • Ability to write short, clear outreach messages that get replies.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving approach.

  • You book qualified meetings and convert them into active engagements.
  • You maintain a healthy pipeline and strong follow-up discipline.
