Revenue Controller

What youll do

• Review customer contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Amendments) before execution and assess revenue recognition implications.
• Apply ASC 606 / Ind AS 115 principles to identify performance obligations, transaction price, SSP, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Delivery, and Finance to ensure revenue-compliant deal structures.
• Own revenue governance, deferred revenue, contract assets/liabilities, and month-end revenue close.
• Support SOX compliance, audits, and revenue-related controls.
• 
  Drive process improvements and automation across revenue accounting workflows.

Were looking for

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA
• 8–15 years of experience in Revenue Controllership / Revenue Assurance / Revenue Accounting
• Hands-on expertise in ASC 606 / IFRS 15 / Ind AS 115
• Experience reviewing customer contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Change Orders, Amendments) from a revenue recognition perspective
• Strong understanding of:
• Time & Material (T&M)
• Fixed Price
• Managed Services
• Milestone-based contracts
• Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
• Strong exposure to SOX, audits, internal controls, and technical accounting
