Job Description
Engineer will be responsibile for building software components running on Linux/FOS.
- Components would be part of Network datapath and platform elements.
- They can be user or kernel components
- Should be able to troubleshoot and support the datapath and platform elements for multiple releases.
- Should be able to work with multi skilled technical team across various geographies and timezones.
- Performance tuning of data path components for scalability
- Work closely with the testing, documentation and customer support needs
- Should be in position to Travel for Business needs.
- Must have 4-year undergraduate degree and Masters degree preferred, with specialization in computer and information science.
- Must have minimum of 15+ years experience in software product company
- Should have exposure and worked on datapath drivers in C under Linux environment

- Should have collobration and coordination abilities to work with mutiple teams
- Should have complex network device platform experience, hardware monitoring s/w development experience.
- Exposure to hardware system design is preferred.
- Network control development experience is an added advantage
- Must be familar with Software Development Life Cycle for a product that has multiple release streams.
