Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in storage technologies and experience in AI testing methodologies. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for storage solutions and AI-driven systems while ensuring the product meets the highest quality standards. Additionally, the ideal candidate will participate in customer escalation activities, providing expert technical support and troubleshooting to resolve complex customer issues related to both storage solutions and AI-based functionalities.
Job Responsibilities :-
- Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
- Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.
- Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
- Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
- Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
- Should be skilled in use of AI to develop test automation, failure analysis and testing efficiency improvements using available AI tools
- Act as a technical escalation point for customers experiencing critical issues with storage solutions.
- Collaborate with customer support and engineering teams to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Reproduce customer-reported problems in the lab environment and identify the root cause.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing timely updates and technical guidance.
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years of testing, test automation and some development experience.
- Experience as a subject matter expert (SME) for customer escalations.
- Excellent coding skill in object oriented programming languages like python
- Practical experience in scripting languages python.

- Excellent understanding of Unix/Linux platform
- Good understanding of SQL scripting, Postgres, and/or other database products
- Storage, Scsi, Nv me, Fibre Channel, Fcoe, Iscsi, San, Spdk Knowledge Is essential.
- Knowledge Of Virtualization, Os Internals Desirable
- API (SOAP & REST) knowledge and test experience
- In-depth experience with automation framework (Playwright, Selenium, PyTest etc.)
- Bonus: Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD tools
