BuildAmbit is a next-generation EdTech platform for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) professionals.

We collaborate with top architects, engineers, and creative leaders to design immersive learning experiences bridging the gap between academia and industry through practical, real-world courses, masterclasses, and simulations.

Our mission is to empower AEC learners to stay ahead of the curve through technology, creativity, and design thinking.

We are looking for a Lead Learning Design who will own the entire learning experience for BuildAmbits programs from conceptualization to final delivery.

This role combines curriculum design, instructional strategy, and creative storytelling to produce world-class learning experiences tailored for AEC professionals.

The ideal candidate understands how learners think, what drives engagement, and how to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and outcomes-driven content.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end learning journeys for AEC programs (BIM, Sustainable Design, AI in Architecture, etc.).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and industry mentors to define course outcomes, structure, and pedagogy.
• Break down topics into modular learning paths combining videos, projects, quizzes, and masterclasses.
• Ensure alignment of all courses with BuildAmbits academic and industry standards.

• Develop engaging storyboards, scripts, and activity frameworks for recorded and live sessions.
• Use instructional design models (ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, etc.) to ensure high learning impact.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain academic accuracy and visual quality in all video content.
• Incorporate case studies, projects, and real-world problem-solving into each module.

• Work closely with top architects, designers, and industry leaders to co-create course content.
• Review educator material for clarity, depth, and learner relevance.
• Train and guide educators on online teaching best practices and learner engagement methods.

• Conduct feedback sessions, learning analytics reviews, and course audits to improve outcomes.
• Maintain consistency in learning tone, design style, and delivery across programs.
• Innovate new formats like microlearning, simulations, or cohort-based live programs.

• 510 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning experience design (EdTech or creative learning environment preferred).
• Proven ability to translate technical subjects into engaging learning content.
• Strong understanding of pedagogy, learning psychology, and multimedia storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with educators, SMEs, or content creators.
• Background or understanding of architecture, design, or engineering education is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in authoring tools and LMS workflows.
• Experience creating or managing video-based learning content.
• Exposure to project-based or simulation-driven learning models.
