Job Description
- Review extended video content to identify emotionally resonant and high-impact moments.
- Edit and deliver multiple short-form video formats on a regular basis
- Ensure edits align with the brand s storytelling tone, emotional cadence, and pacing style.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to refine edits through multiple feedback cycles.
- Source and incorporate music, subtitles, stock footage, and light motion graphics to enhance final output.
- Regularly produce creative compilations and thematic short-form clips (3 4 per week) from archival material. These may include:
- Thematic mini-montages (e.g. On healing, Lessons on identity )
- Platform-native edits with strong hooks and emotional payoffs
- Visually engaging, text-driven storytelling
- Participate in regular brainstorm sessions to pitch content themes and creative concepts.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving trends across TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social-first platforms.
- Work in sync with the social and editorial teams to ensure edits are aligned with platform goals and audience engagement strategy.
- 2+ years of experience editing video content for digital platforms
- Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects is a plus
- Strong storytelling skills and an eye for emotional nuance

- Demonstrated experience editing for vertical formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Attention to pacing, retention hooks, and platform-specific best practices
- Organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable managing recurring deliverables
- A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
- Fluency in English; Arabic comprehension is a plus
- Motion graphics experience
- Background in sound design or audio mixing
- Skills in color correction and grading for social media
- Experience with interview, documentary, or podcast-style content
