The Head of Finance for Infrastructure is a key member of the Infrastructure Management Team and has a crucial role in ensuring our infrastructure strategy is successful.
The person will be responsible for full spectrum finance responsibilities in Infrastructure and support project development and integration where needed. The role will be hands on to provide timely management and statutory reporting and oversee tax and risk management, investment appraisal, and performance management. The Head of Finance should lead project-related financing and maintain local banking relationships. The person should also establish a risk-appropriate internal control environment and business processes for infrastructure and its invested portfolio, including implementing a selected financial system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct finance, accounting, tax, legal, authority engagement, and compliance matters at the infrastructure office in Dubai; Advise and support admin and HR matters where necessary
• Ensure timely and high-quality financial report submission of the Infrastructure offices and their investment portfolio companies on a monthly basis. Provide required analysis and reconciliation
• Coordinate internal audit and ensure timely closure of all findings. Facilitate statutory audits and work closely with appointed auditors to ensure IFRS and SOX compliance
• Work with BW LPG corporate finance to ensure alignment on any SOX compliance preparation
• Together with the Managing Director Infrastructure, support BW LPG Infrastructure board engagement and reports, as well as prepare BW LPG board materials when required
• Take the lead in project document preparation and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely updates to the stakeholders
• Lead project teams as required to manage functional topics, including financing, finance due diligence, tax matters, integration, etc
• Support the Dubai office and portfolio companies finance systems evaluation, implementation and integration
• Regularly conduct risk reviews with the management team and recommend corresponding control measure(s) to mitigate risk pursuant to risk management principles, framework & process

Get Hired

• University degree in Accounting / Business / Commerce /Finance(required)
• Strong project management experience in infrastructure or heavy capex industries
• Equivalent of Chartered Accountant or CPA with big-4 experience preferred
• Experience with major ERP (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and consolidation systems preferred
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
• Analytical and logical, can articulate self well
• Structured, thoughtful with a strategic mindset
• Dedicated and committed, with time sensitivity
• Ability to spar with business and support business development
• Inclination to have close engagement with all functions
