C. Krishniah Chetty & Co.Pvt Ltd (CKC & Co. Pvt Ltd) is a reputed business house known for its business . Pioneers in Jewellery Industry in Karnataka, dealing in all kinds of Gold & Platinum Jewellery, silver articles, diamonds, gem stones and accessories.
Material Management team strive for the highest standard in quality product and wide selection of inventories with right quantity, right price and at the right time. And with the internalization of design demand from the Market trends/Customers/Stores which is catered through the designers and same is manufactured & supplied to stores by the MM team and the marketing & merchandising team helps in sales promotions of those Jewelries & Articles.
Roles & Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the MM department which consists of the following sub functions:
I. Understand the business and internalize the Design Philosophy and Karat & Carat of CKC & Co. Pvt ltd
II. Drive Product Strategy, Innovation, Road map and Execution based on inputs from other appropriate Business Process owners.
III. Inventory Planning, Merchandising, Design and Management MM and Marketing/Design/Store Teams.
IV. Distribution Center Functions(including Diamond & Gem Stone) Team Productivity and Management.
V. Logistics
VI. Ensure appropriate Visual Merchandising through marketing team.
VII. Market Research and Trends of products- MM Team.
VIII. Warehouse Management MM Team
IX. Pricing and Profitability MM and FI Team
X. Vendor Management (Responsible for material and vendor accounting, production, delays etc) MM and FI.
XI. Budgeting and Cost efficiencies MM and FI.
XII. Collaborate With Other Verticals
XIII. Legal Compliance contracts, sign offs, Confidentiality disclosure etc
XIV. Best Practices and benchmarking
XV. Reporting and Presentations
XVI. Training and Preparation of Manuals.
